Aunque sean todos buenos...
¿Cuál es el mejor CD de NIrvana? Es una pregunta difícil de responder...Personalmente, creo que es In Utero, porque
muestra un trabajo más acabado, mas maduro. En Nevermind, como lo indica su tapa, Nirvana recien comenzaba a "nacer" (de ahí
la foto del bebé.) In Utero también representa cierto nivel de "gestación" pero va varios pasos más adelante. Si bien
Nevermind fue el disco más comercial, tuvo mucha honestidad y ganas puestas encima. In Utero es un trabajo más frío,
sólido, conciso. Ya tenían experiencia.
Creo que con In Utero, Kurt nos demostró esa capacidad innovadora para seguir creando canciones nuevas y diferentes.
Por eso, creo que es su mejor trabajo.

Los temas que pegaron
La canción mas conocida de Nirvana es el himno-grunge Smells like teen spirit. Detrás de esa cancion hay
una historia: durante la adolescencia de Cobain había un desodorante con el nombre 'Teen Spirit', una amiga de el escribió
en la pared de su cuarto 'Kurt smells like Teen Spirit', al principio Kurt nunca comprendía la magnitud que tendría esa frase.
La
canción 'Lithium' se la dedica a un amigo suyo el cual le suministraba drogas (además de que las personas que sufren transtornos
de depresión son tratadas con litio). Muchos músicos admiraban su genialidad para escribir canciones; canciones que buscaban
algún sentido, que gritaban traumas, que expresaban dolores, que intentaban y con las que sus seguidores podían identificarse.
